i laugh. exactly this time last year i was slaving over college apps right before thanksgiving dinner. hahhhhaahahh
so i had a paper due on monday at 9am for my mus15 class, which was no big deal but i procrastinated so much that i stayed stayed up til 6 writing it (facebook ruins lives). i decided to nap until 7:15, got ready to eat breakfast with my friend but i accidentally fell asleep and missed my section and turned in my paper late. GOOD GAME.
and my earth sci class...
for my first midterm i:
- read all of the chapters
- studied kind of a lot
- thought it was really easy
- got a 91%
for my second midterm i:
- didn't read at all
- didn't study very much
- skipped half of the lectures
- thought it was pretty hard
- got a 98%
so what is college teaching me? that going to class and studying are completely pointless. hahahahahhhhjk kinda.
19 units next quarter. who's gonna die????? MEE/
i'm stuck in sd until tomorrow!!! not fair, my whole suite is empty and i'm kind of scared to make that long trek to the bathroom. AH.
is a 30gig video ipod for $200 worth it?? i really need more room for my music. today i literally spent two horus deciding which songs to fit onto my 4gig mini....honestly the toughest decision of my life.
i'm really enjoying having cable tv in college. miami ink= best show ever?!! he heeeee

- starting to reminisce about high school...it's depressing

wtf? honestly, i'm living in an effing prison.
- 10pm curfew on weekdays.
- only allowed to go out certain days a week.
- 12am curfew on weekends.
- limited driving.

orientation was sooososososoo much fun. i'm excited for UCSD and ERC (holla!) except for:
- the showers...eeeek i had to take a cold shower yesterday because they ran out of hot water
- the huge freakin campus that will probably eat me one time or another. i swear, i tried three different routes before actually reaching cafe ventanas today
i miss my bed.
i want to use my normal shampoo and conditioner.
life is so good without amy and my parents.
my dad drives 10+ BELOW the speed limit so i really want to go home and drive 100 down mission just to make up for all of my frustration.
facebook is addicting.
i haven't made my graduation post yet.
I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND TOMORROW!!!!
but most of all...
i miss high school.
i miss everyone.

THE YEARBOOKS ARE HERE!! they're the most beautiful books mission has had so far, if i do say so myself. and i'm not saying this because i was a part of the creation process, it's the truth!
if you didn't buy one, you will definitely be missing out. we have sold out of yearbooks and as of right now, do not have any extras whatsoever. that's right folks, the waiting list as of now is VOID. there is an itty-bitty chance that we might be ordering more, but it will cost a fortune to do so. don't count on it.
NO, we will not be passing out any books early, even if you will not be there after school to pick yours up. or if you think you're "special" and deserve it. don't even try to ask because we will probably bite your head off. =D distribution will start after school in the gym quad. nobody will be allowed in until the bell rings.
REMEMBER to bring your yearbook receipt and id card. these two are necessary for pick up. without them, you will not receive your yearbook.
if you have lost your receipt, we will be selling them in the gym quad throughout the day so stop by during break, lunch, class (i didn't say that) to buy yours for $1!
alright, if you have any more questions you can call my cell or ask another costanoan staff member.
ps. go to our VERY LAST sweet tomatoes fundraiser tonight from 5-8pm. get a flyer from an officer.

 wow i can't believe that our last high school dance is over. now the only thing left is graduation =*( but senior ball was hellllla fun. yay! the first real dance that i didn't have to plan. at all. ever. and alex was a great dateee anyway, this is how my saturday went: i woke at some ungodly hour (seven, i think) because amy was making tons of noise in the bathroom, so i'm basically cranky throughout the day due to my lack of sleep. i tried to lay in bed for an hour or two but never ended up falling asleep, but that's okay. i got to watch the prom episode of suite life of zack and cody<3! looove. spent a couple hours half asleep watching tv, and then started getting my stuff ready for the night. headed over to radioshack to buy a new battery for my poor little camera, which i abandoned when i got my new camera phone, haha. it took days to charge but lasted throughout the night. horray next stop was rudy's for hair updos. oh man, my hair was SUCH a disaster. i forgot the pictures that i printed out at home so i had to settle for a mediocre picture in one of his designer books. rudy wouldn't let me look at the mirror and boy was that a huge freaking mistake. i ended up with a big poof, some curly bun on the top of my head, and bouncy curls-- the exact opposite of what i wanted. basically, i was an asian cinderella. it was diisgusting so i asked rudy if he could loosen the bun or change it some how, but he was being a diva and said no. boooo on you. thumbs down all the way. so after leaving rudy's, i went home to pick up my car and got some gas. it was hella embarassing because i was at the pump in scrubby clothes and weddingish hair. haha okay so after that i drove to christine's so jessica could do my make up. i have no idea how she does it, but she works wonders with eye shadow. haha i looove you jessica zhang thank you so much!!! while at christine's, lauren called me and said that her hair stylist, nicole, at baystreet could fix my hair up so i rushed over there to get my hair done AGAIN. she was so nice and understood how stressed out i was, and ended up not charging me anything for it. what a life saver!! plus my hair was 1000x better than before. =D okay i suddenly feel really lazy and have decided to finish my summary later. suckas! i know you only want to see pictures anyway, so here you go: ( I Don't Want to Miss a Thing ) |
